Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan has asserted that the government is planning to increase funds for the advancement of the educational infrastructure. He said this while inaugurating the Samarpan Samaroh at the University of Delhi today. During the event, Mr Pradhan launched the Sashakt Beti and e-Drishti projects. The Minister also distributed laptops and tablets to orphaned and single-parent females as well as visually impaired students under both projects. He also launched the University of Delhi Ambulance. Further, the Education Minister released the Commemorative Volume of Donor’s Chronicle, 2024 during the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister underlined that Delhi University is a desired destination for pursuing higher education amongst the students. He also stated that in the coming years, the University will help in developing a knowledge-based economy.
