Due to heavy rains in Maharashtra, the University of Mumbai has postponed the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) exams that were initially scheduled for July 9, 2024. The new dates for these exams have been announced, ensuring students are well-informed and can plan accordingly.

The FYBA and FY BCom (Semester 1) exams, initially set for July 9, 2024 will now take place on July 18, 2024 from 11 am to 2 pm. Similarly, the FY BSc Information Technology (Semester 2) exam will be held on July 18, 2024 from 11 am to 1:30 pm. Additionally, the FY BAF (Semester 1) and FYBSc Computer Science (Semester 2) exams have been rescheduled to July 18, from 3 pm to 5:30 pm. The MMS Semester 2 exam, also postponed, will now take place on July 20, 2024 from 11 am to 2 pm.

According to the CDOE at Mumbai University, despite the changes in exam dates, the venues or exam centers will remain the same. This ensures that students do not face any additional logistical challenges apart from adjusting to the new dates.

Earlier on Monday, CDOE also rescheduled the exams that were originally set for July 8, 2024. These exams will now be conducted on July 13, 2024 in the first half, from 11 am to 2 pm.

The decision to postpone the exams was made in response to the heavy rains lashing Maharashtra, which have caused disruptions and posed significant challenges for students and staff.
