The Delhi Education Department has mandated the resumption of physical learning in schools for all classes, including nursery and primary, starting today. Despite foggy conditions, the directive limits school hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) also adheres to this decision, specifying schedules. Earlier closures were due to severe fog, as announced by Delhi Education Minister Atishi. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddh Nagar extends school closures till January 16, citing cold wave and low visibility in the northern region.
