The Delhi High Court has stated that a university's self-regulation ordinance should not override a student's right to education and human dignity. The court emphasized that educational institutions must accommodate students with medical challenges to ensure they receive quality education. The remarks were made during a hearing in response to a plea from two students seeking a transfer between institutions due to medical reasons. The court urged universities to adopt a more pragmatic approach and not be rigid in their decisions regarding student migration.
