Deakin University plans to set up an international branch campus at Gujarat International Finance Tec City (GIFT City) in India, and has signed an agreement with Nila Spaces, which will provide space of 25,000 sq ft for the campus by the end of 2021. The initial campus will be managed by DevX and called HaS (HQ as a Service). Nila Spaces is also constructing a 50,000 sq ft commercial space structure at GIFT City.
