CUET 2025 Major Changes: Common University Entrance Exam for 2025 session is undergoing many changes.
Recently the UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar has talked about the modifications for the upcoming exam.
He has said that exam authority every year is learning from past experience and trying to fix all the issues that candidates face and always tries to improve exam conduct. The UGC formed an expert committee to manage issues and consider suggestions from candidates.

The committee reviewed these recommendations, and several key changes have been approved and will be implemented for the CUET 2025 examination.
What Are CUET 2025 Major Changes?
For the upcoming session, changes have been made in , mode, duration, etc., we have given complete details below:
- Mode Of Exam: The exam till last year is conducted in hybrid (CBT and PBT mode) but for the upcoming year it will be conducted completely in Computer-Based Test (CBT). By changing the mode of exam, it is expected that the efficiency and reliability of the examination process will improve.
- Reduction in Paper: Number of papers will be decreased from 63 to 37 and for the Domain-specific subjects from 29 to 23.
- Language Addition: Exam is conducted in 13 languages including the major languages and for 20th other languages which also include foreign languages the admission will be done based on the general aptitude test.
- Exam Time Duration: Candidates will now get equal time of 60 Minutes to complete all the papers. Each paper will have 50 questions which is compulsory to attempt and the total marks will be 250.
- Exam Centers: NTA will implement strict rules and protocols that will be mandatory going to be followed by the exam centers.
