Every year, The CSIR UGC NET examination is scheduled to be conducted in December month. NTA would conduct the UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor in December at selected cities across India.

The CSIR UGC NET examination is held to test the eligibility of the aspirants for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET. Also, through UGC NET, the eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas is determined.

The admit card of which would be released on the official website, csirhrdg.res.in. Once released, the candidates can download the admit card from the official web portal. Online applications for JRF/NET are invited twice a year.

Candidates may check the Notification on HRDG website, csirhrdg.res.in. As per the notification released, the exam would be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon for Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. While, exam for courses like- Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences would be conducted at 2 pm till 5 pm.

Candidates appearing for CSIR-UGC NET Exam must fall under the age limit of 28 yaers. They must be M.Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/BTech/BPharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for General (UR) and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates.

How to Download CSIR UGC NET Admit Card 2023?​


National Test Agency would release the CSIR UGC NET Exam admit cards on its official website, . Candidates who have registered for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, CSIR National Eligibility Test can check details and download the admit card using login details. To download the admit card, candidates can follow the simple steps.

  1. Visit the Website
    Candidates who have appeared the CSIR Examination can visit the official website, in your device browse.

  2. Click on the Admit Card Link
    Once you reach the official website, click on the link “Download e-Admit card” on the home page.

    On the admit card downloading web page, you have to enter your Application Form No. and Date of Birth and the security code.

CSIR UGC NET Exam Result: As per the official notification, CSIR NET result would be announced on December 31, 2019. Before that, the Agency will release the provisional and final answer key. Candidates can raise objections against the answer key by paying Rs.1000/- per question.
