MNLU Mumbai’s Centre for Research in Criminal Justice (CRCJ) is pleased to announce a Five Days Online Workshop for a comprehensive understanding of the three new criminal laws (i.e. Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam). Its sessions are scheduled to be held between 18th June and 22nd June, from 11 AM to 1 PM everyday. Registrations for the same are open now.

The Centre for Research in Criminal Justice (CRCJ) at MNLU Mumbai is dedicated to advancing the study and practice of criminal justice. It addresses issues such as criminal law, criminology, penology, and the rights of the accused and victims. The CRCJ conducts extensive research, organizes seminars and workshops, and collaborates with national and international institutions to tackle contemporary challenges in criminal justice.
About the Workshop:
The CRCJ is organising a five-day workshop on the three novel criminal laws of 2023. This workshop will provide an in-depth understanding of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, which are set to replace the Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure, and Indian Evidence Act, respectively.
