Eligibility Criteria for Diploma in Computer Science

  • The candidates must have completed 10th or 12th standard from a recognized board.
  • A minimum marks of 45%–50% in relevant subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry is required at 12th standard.
  • For admission to diploma programs, candidates must qualify state-level polytechnic entrance exams.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering

  • For admission to B.Tech CSE, candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
  • Candidates must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2, for admission to IITs and NITS minimum 75% (65% for reserved category) is required.
  • Candidates must qualify exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, or state-level engineering entrance exams like MHT CET, WBJEE, etc.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field such as IT, Electronics.
  • A minimum of 55% or equivalent CGPA in undergraduate studies.
  • Candidates must clear national-level exams like GATE or university-specific exams for admission.

Admission Process​


How to get admission in computer science & engineering courses?

The admission in B.Tech courses is done through JEE Main examination. JEE Main is a national level exam regulated by the national testing agency (NTA) for providing admissions in B.Tech programmes offered by top colleges of the country.

For admission in top engineering institutions like IITs & IISc, JEE Advanced score is considered for admission.

Many privates universities conduct entrance test for admission to their B.Tech programmes. Some of these include , , etc.

The admission in M.Tech courses are done on the basis of GATE examination.
