As the newly appointed president of AIMA, I will introduce new initiatives to help aspiring management students in the changing market dynamics. AIMA will embrace new technologies like machine intelligence and simulated reality in education and introduce courses on blockchain and IoT in business. We have already introduced new-age courses like Digital Transformation, Sustainability Management, Corporate Social Responsibility Management, and Digital Business Management. The trends in management education have evolved towards practical and experiential learning, integration of technology, interdisciplinary learning, and global perspective. The shifting global demands and geopolitical conflicts are reshaping the international market for management education. Techno managers are influencing the market disrupted by AI, ML, and IoT by leading the induction of these technologies. The curriculum needs to be designed as per the changing demand for a sustainable future, including sustainability sensitization and management techniques. Indian corporations can support young management graduates by establishing structured internship programs and aligning curricula with their emerging needs.
