Speaking of her educational qualification, IAS Pallavi Mishra finished her schooling in Bhopal. Later, she pursued her graduation from the National Law University, Delhi. Following her law degree, she pursued her MA in music and became a trained classical singer. She studied under the guidance of the late Pandit Siddharam Koravara.

Her elder brother, Aditya Mishra, is the Deputy Commissioner of Indore and an IPS officer. Pallavi credits much of her success to her family, particularly her elder brother, for their support and guidance throughout her journey.
Pallavi could not clear the UPSC examination in her first attempt. However, in 2022, with hard work and dedication, she, without taking the help of any formal coaching, cleared the UPSC exam in her second attempt and achieved an impressive All India Rank(AIR) of 73. According to her LinkedIn profile, she is the Assistant Collector (Trainee), North Goa, Goa. At present, she has a total of 63.8k followers on Instagram. She secured 820 marks in the written examination, 184 marks in her personality test. Overall, she secured 1004.
