The new National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for school education in India recommends several key changes, including the study of three languages till class X, with at least two being native Indian languages. The assessment system will require students to qualify in at least six subjects to obtain a class XII certificate. The NCF also suggests shifting from the current annual and two-year study patterns to a semester and/or annual design.
