Candidates who have qualified Haryana Staff Selection Commission's common eligibility test (CET) held a protest in Karnal along with activists from the Youth Congress, demanding a chance to appear in the main exam. They attempted to gherao the chief minister's residence but were stopped by the police. Congress MPs supported their demands and urged the government to give opportunities to all qualified CET candidates in recruitments and withdraw the changes made in CET qualifying rules.
