The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the answer key for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 conducted in July. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access the answer key on the official website, . The exam, held on July 7 across 136 cities in India, saw participation from aspiring teachers across various disciplines and educational backgrounds.

The CTET 2024 answer key allows candidates to verify their responses against the officially provided solutions. To access the answer key, candidates are required to enter their roll number and date of birth on the CTET website. The answer key is available in PDF format for download.

Steps to Download CTET 2024 Answer Key:

1. Visit the official website: Navigate to ctet.nic.in.

2. Click on the link: Select the “CTET July 2024 Answer Key” link on the homepage.

3. Enter details: Input your application number and date of birth.

4. View and download: The CTET Answer Key 2024 will be displayed on the screen. Download it in PDF format.

5. Raise objections if necessary: Candidates dissatisfied with any answer can challenge it by submitting proof along with a processing fee.

Objection Filing Details:

Candidates interested in disputing any answer must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1000 per questioned answer. The objections can only be submitted online through the official website within the stipulated time frame. It’s important to note that objections made without the prescribed fee or through alternate means (such as mail or letter) will not be considered valid.

The CBSE notification emphasises that no grievances regarding the answer keys will be entertained after the declaration of the CTET July 2024 results.

Upon the announcement of results, scheduled for release shortly after the objection window closes, successful candidates will receive their marksheets and eligibility certificates digitally via DigiLocker. These documents will be digitally signed and feature an encrypted QR code for enhanced security and authenticity verification using the DigiLocker mobile app.

The CTET 2024 comprised two papers:
Paper 1: For candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5.
Paper 2: For candidates aiming to teach Classes 6 to 8.

Each paper consisted of 150 multiple-choice questions, with no negative marking. The qualification achieved through CTET 2024 is valid for a lifetime for all categories of candidates. There is no restriction on the number of attempts candidates can make to obtain the CTET certification, allowing them the opportunity to improve their scores with subsequent attempts.
