Aligarh: The Sir Syed Academy, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is organising a book release function on May 15, which will be presided over by Prof Naima Khatoon, Vice Chancellor, AMU.
Distinguished speakers including, the chief guest Prof Akhtarul Wasey, the Director of Sir Syed Academy, Prof M. Shafey Kidwai, Prof A.R. Kidwai, Prof Saud Alam Qasmi, Prof Asim Siddiqui and Dr. Mohammad Shahid will speak on the books that are scheduled to be released on the day.
Professor Kidwai informed that three volumes of Maqalat-e-Sir Syed will be released and the speakers will discuss the writings of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and their relevance.
The programme will begin at 11 am at the Sir Syed Academy Conference Hall.
