The Bombay High Court disposed of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed alleging that the post-mortem of the deceased was not conducted. Even wrong RTO number of the vehicle was mentioned. The investigation is not conducted in proper manner.

The Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the charge-sheet is also filed before the Court. The inquiry is initiated against the erring officers.

In the present PIL petition accused is not before us nor the doctors against whom allegations are sought to be made are before the Court , the Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice S.V. Gangapurwala and Justice Sandeep V. Marne observed.

The charge-sheet is already filed. From the charge-sheet the Bench noted that the investigations carried out. Based on the charge-sheet and investigations, the Magistrate can pass further orders in the matter.

In light of the above, no further orders are necessary in the present PIL petition , held by the High Court.
