Members of the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) embarked on a unique journey to Amboli, Maharashtra, led by BNHS scientist Mrugank Prabhu. They encountered various native plant species in Devrai (Sacred Groves) near Amboli and spotted endemic herpetofauna, including the Critically Endangered Amboli Tiger Toad. A highlight of the trip was witnessing bioluminescent fungus during a night trail. Mahadev Bhise, Honorary Wildlife Warden, also discussed local flora and fauna conservation efforts.
