The violence resulted in three people being injured by gunshots, and more than 50 people have been arrested in raids conducted by the state police. In response to the situation, Rohtas Ashok Mishra, Superintendent of Police of Nalanda, has urged the public to remain calm and ignore rumors or fake news. On March 31, clashes were reported in Biharsharif and Sasaram during Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit. Abhishek Palasi, the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Biharsharif Sadar, informed that Section 144 has been implemented in Nalanda to prohibit such incidents.
