Varanasi : Banaras Hindu University (BHU), renowned for its academic excellence and commitment to innovative education, has launched 22 SWAYAM courses for the January 2025 session. SWAYAM, a flagship initiative by the Government of India aims to provide free access to high-quality education. The platform offers an inclusive, interactive, and flexible mode of learning for students, professionals, and educators. The objective of this effort is to take the best teaching learning resources to all, including the most disadvantaged, by bridging the digital divide for students. Dr. Ashutosh Mohan, Coordinator, BHU SWAYAM, said the diverse set of courses has been meticulously curated by BHU’s esteemed faculty, focusing on both contemporary and traditional academic themes. With durations ranging from 4 to 12 weeks, the courses cater to students, professionals, and lifelong learners alike, he added.
The courses range from a large range of fields including Indian Knowledge Systems, Finance and Law, Agriculture, Tourism, Culture Studies, Machine Learning, and Life Skills among others.
