The Maharashtra State Government has declared a public holiday for the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22. Maharashtra state minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha requested Chief Minister Shinde to declare the holiday. Various other states have also declared a holiday to celebrate the ceremony.
