The Assam class 12 state board exam results have shown a decline in the pass percentage ranging from 7 to 13 percent compared to last year, with a significant drop in arts and science streams. The results were announced on Tuesday, revealing that the pass percentage in arts fell from 83.48% to 70.12%, while in science, it dropped from 92.19% to 84.96%. In commerce, it fell from 87.27% to 79.57%. However, Nikhilesh Dutta, a non-institutional private candidate, topped the science exam with an aggregate score of 484 out of 500.
