Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced the release of a recruitment advertisement for 14,223 school teacher positions in Assam. The Government of Assam has published the advertisement for 1,424 post-graduate teachers and 7,249 graduate teachers. The Directorate of Elementary Education has also released an advertisement for the recruitment of 3,800 Assistant Teachers of Lower Primary (LP) Schools. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed satisfaction with the release of vacancies and reaffirmed the government's commitment to creating more than 1 lakh government jobs in Assam.
