These engines have been granted Type approval for compliance to CPCB IV+ emission norms, in accordance with the regulations set forth by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) under Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Government of India.
Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) is autonomous body affiliated to the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India and is one of the prime Testing and Certification Agency notified by Government of India under Rule 126 of Central Motor Vehicle Rules, 1989. ARAI’s certification affirms that Cooper Corporation’s single, 2, 4- and 6-cylinder Diesel Engines, with a power range of 6 kW to 228 kW Gross Mechanical Power, meet the stringent emission standards mandated by the Indian regulatory authorities. This achievement underscores Cooper Corporation’s commitment to environmental sustainability and reinforces its position as a responsible player in the industry.
