- Test codes, names of the departments, M.Phil / Ph.D. programs offered and the respective eligibility criteria are given in Annexure – I of the APRCET Information Brochure.
- APRCET for each subject/department consists of one paper with multiple choice objective type questions including oral examination.
- This Paper contains 20 questions in Research Methodology with 20 marks, 70 questions in concerned subject with 70 marks
- After the written examination there is an oral examination for 10 marks will be conducted in Departments by the concerned DRC.
- The minimum qualifying marks in APRCET is 25 marks and no minimum marks for SC/ST/PHC category students.
- Based on the number of seats available and the number of applications received, the University reserves the right to conduct or not to conduct the test.

- All candidates qualified in the Entrance Test will be awarded APRCET test-wise Rank as per marks secured in the test and Interview.
- In case of a tie between candidates securing the same marks the order of merit will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in Part-II of the Test. In case of a further tie, the marks obtained by the candidate in Part-I shall be taken into account. If the tie continues the date of birth of the candidate shall be taken into account, with priority to the older candidate.
