AP Inter Admission Eligibility Criteria​


Before applying for AP Inter Admission 2023, it is essential to familiarize yourself with the eligibility criteria set by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh. To be eligible for admission, you should meet the following requirements:

a. Educational Qualifications​


Candidates must have completed the 10th standard or its equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution. It is necessary to have passed all the subjects in the qualifying examination to be eligible for admission.

b. Age Limit​


The age of the candidate should be between 15 to 17 years as of August 31, 2023. Relaxations in the age limit may be applicable for certain reserved categories as per government regulations.

Offline AP Inter Admissions 2023​


BIE AP is going for intermediate admissions through offline mode to save the academic year 2023-24. All Junior Colleges and Composite Degree Colleges offering Two Year Intermediate Course in General & Vocational streams.

Offline AP Inter Admission Guidelines​

  • The classes for first year Intermediate course will commence from June 2nd week.
  • The Principals can make provisional admissions on the basis of Internet marks memos.
  • The provisional admissions made will be confirmed after the production of original SSC pass certificate and Transfer Certificate issued by the school authorities, where they last studied.
  • The original SSC pass certificate, Caste certificate etc., shall be returned to the candidate immediately after verification.
  • Holding of certificates will be viewed seriously and action will be initiated against the Managements.
  • The students who have paid the application fee of Rs.100/- or Rs.50/- while applying online admissions shall be deducted at the time of collecting of recognition fee of Rs.200/-.
  • The admissions should be made based on the SSC pass or equalency obtained in the qualifying examination.
  • They should not conduct any test for admission.
  • All the Principals are instructed to take measures to provide full security to Girl students and also to follow the instructions issued for prevention of suicidal deaths strictly.

The Principals of unaided junior colleges are hereby directed that they should make admissions only up to the sanctioned sections and up to the ceiling strength of 88 in each section as per the orders of the Hon’ble High Court, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

They are further directed not to make admissions in the combinations dropped by the Board. The admission into additional sections should be made only after the permission is issued by the Board. Any violation of Board rules will be viewed seriously and penalty will be imposed.

All the Principals are instructed that the students who studied 1st year in Telangana State and other States are not eligible to take admission into 2nd year A.P. State, as the curriculum of syllabus are different in both the States. If any student is interested to study in Andhra Pradesh State, they should take admission into 1st year only for the academic year 2023-2024.

Further, the Principals should obtain the prior permission/ eligibility certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education in respect of admissions of students who studied in other States/ Boards, otherwise, the Principals will be held responsible.

During the period of admissions the managements are requested to display prominently at the entrance of the building the number of sections sanctioned by the Board of Intermediate Education for the academic year 2023-2024, the number of seats filled up in each section and the number of seats vacant in each section. This information should be updated on a daily basis. Any deviation from the instructions will be viewed seriously.

  • Soldiers, children of ex-servicemen: 3%

AP Intermediate Online Admission 2023​


As AP SSC Result has already been released, the Andhra Pradesh state government is gearing up for the intermediate admission process. The AP Inter Admission 2023 process is expected to begin in June.

This year the intermediate admission process would begin online and the schedule for admission would also release by the state government soon. This time students would not have to reach colleges for the inter admissions. The admission can be done through the e-admissions portal that would be launched in the state soon.

In case if a student is unable to fill up the admission form online for intermediate courses, they will have to visit the nearest Grama Sachivalayam or Ward Sachivalayam for registration.

Each student will be allowed to choose a minimum of five choices or options while filling the online form. The admission will be done on the basis of merit, i.e., marks scored by candidates in AP SSC Exams.

Reservation policy will be applied to seats available across government and private colleges. The admission fees have already been decided by the government and private and government colleges will have to charge the fees specified.

BIEAP may conduct at least three rounds of counselling for AP Intermediate Admission. The complete schedule would also be available to students on the official site of BIEAP soon.

AP Inter Admission Notification 2023​


AP Inter Admission notification 2023 will be released very soon on its web portal. AP Inter admissions are being made online for the first time this year. Students can choose the colleges of their choice from home. One can give options to any number of colleges.

This time the reservation is being implemented in all junior colleges including private for Inter Admissions. When students choose colleges online, the infrastructure and faculty details are available.

It is sufficient for students to simply enter their details. NCC Quota Candidates, they only need to scan and attach certificates. Last year, the School Education Regulation and Supervision Commission issued directives that admissions should be conducted with fees.

AP Inter Admission Application Fee​


For General/BC is Rs.200/- and for SC/ST/PH-Rs.100/ per student. The students who have already paid the application fee online need not to pay again and they have to submit the receipt to the Principal concerned at the time of Admission.

AP Online Inter Admission 2023 Guidelines​


Board Of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, has given guidelines for Implementation of Online Intermediate Admission Process in all Junior Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh from the Academic Year onwards and the board has intimated to all the College Managements in their jurisdiction.

E-Admissions​


BIE AP has informed to all the Regional Inspection Officers, Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh and also intimated all the Principals & Managements,

existing Private Aided / Unaided (including Co-op.) / Incentive / APSWR / APTWR / APRJC/ Kendriya Vidyalayas in their jurisdiction that the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh is being introduced Computerized Automated Student Online Intermediate Admission System/ E-Admissions from the academic year for Intermediate courses.

AP Inter Online Admissions​


The Online admissions for Intermediate Course begin around the month of May / June every year. The admissions are also expected scheduled to be commenced shortly will be available in the BIE, AP website i.e., bie.ap.gov.in.
