Starting April 2, the Odisha government has mandated morning classes at all Anganwadi centers in response to rising heatwave conditions. Operating hours will be from 7 am to 11:30 am, as per guidelines issued by the Women and Child Development department. This decision follows earlier directives for schools to hold morning classes due to the soaring temperatures, with the day temperature already reaching 40 degrees Celsius.
