Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test postponed to June 20

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada, which is conducting the AP CET 2023 examinations has moved the examination to June 20. The examinations were originally scheduled for May 5. All candidates who have registered for the entrance examination must take note of this change.

The examination scheduled in June will be held in two sessions – session 1 from 9 am to 12 pm and session 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm. As per the revised schedule, hall tickets for the examination will be issued on June 12, 2023 and answer key will be released on June 23, 2023. Result date will be announced later after the exam ends.

Registrations for AP ECET 2023 began from March 10, 2023 and ended on April 10, 2023 without late fee. Correction window was open from April 20, 2023 to April 22, 2023. Today April 24 is the last date to submit online application with late fee of Rs. 5000.

The examination paper will be for 200 marks consisting of 200 objective type questions. Distribution of marks for each stream – Engineering, Pharmacy and B.Sc. (mathematics as one of the optional subjects) is provided in the at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. JNTU has provided the syllabus for all the topics of each stream on the official website.

25% of the aggregate marks in the four subjects (three subjects for B.Sc. Mathematics) is the qualifying percentage marks for obtaining a rank in AP ECET 2023. This amounts to 50 marks out of the total of 200. In the case of SC/ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates.
