AMU Professor convenes a symposium at MIT World Peace University, Pune

ALIGARH : Prof Subuhi Khan, Department of Mathematics, Aligarh Muslim University organized as Convener a symposium on “Recent Advances in Special Functions and Orthogonal Polynomials” during the 90th Annual Conference of Indian Mathematical Society, ‘An International Meet’ organized at the MIT World Peace University, Pune.

She also presented a talk on “Umbral Perspective to Hypergeometric Functions and Their Hybrid Relatives”

She emphasized the importance of umbral methods in introducing new families of special functions associated with hypergeometric functions, which was not possible by earlier existing approaches.
