ALIGARH : Prof Syed Ziaur Rahman, Chairman, Department of Pharmacology, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University acted as a member of the jury at the 5th edition of the Science Conclave-cum-National Biomedical Research Competition-2024 (NBRCOM-2024) hosted by the Society of Young Biological Scientists (SYBS), in collaboration with the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, and held at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
Dr. Rahman contributed to the evaluation of academic research and innovative projects among young biological scientists, fostering guidance and collaboration under the leadership of SYBS and JNU. His responsibilities included reviewing scientific research presentations and collaborative student-led projects competing for awards, with a total prize worth of Rs Nine lakh across categories such as Health Sciences, Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
He remarked, “It is an honour to join this distinguished panel and collaborate with the vibrant research community in India. The NBRCOM and SYBS are well-recognized platforms that foster collaborative research, innovation, and mentorship opportunities, supporting the next generation of researchers in biological sciences.”
