AMU faculty members publish a chapter in a Springer Nature book

ALIGARH : Dr Shah Mohammad Abbas Waseem, Department of Physiology and Dr Ali Jafar Abedi, Department of Community Medicine, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University have published a jointly authored chapter, “chapter “Early Clinical Exposure for Undergraduate MBBS (Phase I) Students: Questions and Answers” in a book titled “Global Medical Education in Normal and Challenging Times” edited by H. Zaidi, Shahid Hassan, Shoaleh Bigdeli and Tabassum Zehra, and published by Springer Nature, Switzerland.

The chapter sheds light on the early clinical exposure advocated by the National Medical Commission, which seeks to sensitize the first prof medical students to clinical context, correlates basic sciences with clinical concepts and provides insight into diagnostic and therapeutic aspect of the medical profession.
