The Indian state universities and higher education institutes are required to complete the admission process for new students for undergraduate and postgraduate by 24 July, as per the academic calendar 2023-24 announced by the department of higher education. The classes for the first semester will start on 25 July, with one week for student induction program before or after the classes as per the timetable of institutions.
