The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a new programme called “Shiksha Par Baat, Manish Sisodia Ke Saath,” its goal is to absorb the feedback from parents across Delhi on the city’s education system to discuss the future direction of the government schools. The whole programme is based upon the involvement of parents in the discussion and direction of the government schools.

The programme is being led by Manish Sisodia who first held a session in Patparganj where over 500 parents took part in the discussions and following the motive of this initiative they spoke about Delhi’s public education, government school results and surpassing of private schools over the last seven years.

Parents expressed gratitude towards initiatives such as free coaching for competitive exams like NEET, JEE, and CUET and also expressed their appreciation towards the modern school infrastructure and the enhanced teacher training during the first session of the programme.

Manish Sisodia in a heartfelt message also shared that he is fully committed to provide education to every child in Delhi, and providing opportunities for children from both privileged and non-privileged families. He also highlighted the party’s efforts in establishing top-notch schools, sending educators for world-class training, and keeping the parents informed through PTMs.

‘Shiksha Par Baat’ is an initiative aimed to encourage a community focused on areas of technology, skill development for future job markets and creating a top-notch education system without discriminating anyone. This initiative along with the discussion with parent’s shows a potential to prove useful in the near future. Sessions to be held in future across Delhi and will ensure that every parent has a word in shaping the future of education in the city.
