Over 21,000 students have been selected in the provisional merit list for admission to medical, dental, ayurveda, and homeopathy undergraduate courses in the Indian state of Gujarat. The total seats available for these courses combined is 14,782. Of the selected students, over 7,400 belong to socially and economically backward classes and over 4,000 belong to economically weaker sections.
