Jaipur : Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, celebrated the 163rd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya with great reverence and enthusiasm. The event witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, alumni, faculty, and a large number of students.
The program commenced at 9:30 AM near the central lawn in front of the Department of Management with a warm welcome for the guests. The inaugural address highlighted Malviya Ji’s visionary leadership and his pioneering role in establishing Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
A floral tribute was offered to the statue of Pandit Malviya Ji, followed by heartfelt speeches. Mr. K. Vikram Rastogi, President of the BHU Alumni Association, eloquently emphasized Malviya Ji’s contribution to education and nation-building. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Aniruddh Singh, President of Jaipur Mahamana Malaviya Mission, and Prof. N.P. Padhi, Director of MNIT Jaipur, reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to Malviya Ji’s ideals.
The cultural segment brought the celebrations to life with a mesmerizing Kathak performance by Prashi Sharma and a heartfelt poem by Abhinav, beautifully reflecting Malaviya Ji’s vision of education and social progress.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dean of Student Welfare, Prof. Kanupriya Sachdev. Guests then visited an exhibition dedicated to the life and contributions of Pandit Malviya Ji.
The celebrations continued with an alumni meet at the central lawn, where participants engaged in discussions about Malviya Ji’s principles over refreshments.
This event stood as a testament to MNIT Jaipur’s dedication to the ideals of education, culture, and social service espoused by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya.
