The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a digital test taken on a designated computer at a test center. Candidates cannot choose their test center or preferred test time. Bringing calculators is not allowed, but an onscreen calculator is provided. There are no negative marks for non-MCQ questions, and the number of non-MCQs in each section is undisclosed. Candidates must answer sections in a predetermined order. CAT does not have a specific syllabus, but mock tests can help familiarize candidates with the exam pattern. Marks are determined based on correct and incorrect answers, with no penalty for unanswered questions. PwD candidates receive an additional 20 minutes for every hour of the test.
