Andhra Pradesh plans to add seven gigawatts of renewable energy capacity within three years, according to M Kamalakar Babu, the CEO of AP solar power corporation. Speaking at the Hydrogen Energy Resource and Opportunity (HERO-2023) summit in Visakhapatnam, Babu said the state was working on several pumped hydro storage projects as part of a mission to supply round-the-clock green energy.
