After Santiniketan in West Bengal , now the Hoysala group of sacred temples in Karnataka , the Hoysala temples of Belur, Halebid and Somnathpura, have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List . The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced this. This decision was taken during the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia . The ‘Hoysala Sacred Temple Groups’ were included in the UNESCO tentative list since April 2014. India had sent it as a nomination for consideration as a World Heritage Site for the year 2022-2023. Hoysala temples 12th-13th century Were made in. This was the capital of the Hoysala dynasty, considered the patron of art and literature . Three Hoysala temples are protected monuments under the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) . Therefore ASI conserves and maintains it.

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) today successfully completed an important task of its solar mission Aditya-L1 . The spacecraft has now begun its approximately 110-day journey to reach L1 . ISRO has said in a social media post that after 110 days, through a process, it will be placed in an orbit around the L1 point between the Sun and the Earth . Aditya-L1 is the first Indian space-based observatory to observe the Lagrangian Point (L1) located approximately 15 lakh km from Earth. Will study the Sun from orbit around a halo around it. The Sun is a giant ball of gas and Aditya-L1 will study the Sun’s outer atmosphere. According to ISRO, the spacecraft, placed in a halo orbit around the L1 point, will be able to view the Sun continuously without any obstruction. This will allow solar activities and its impact on space weather to be seen in real time.

The ministry said that India is a democratic country and has a commitment to the rule of law. The ministry said such baseless allegations are an attempt to divert attention from Khalistani terrorists and extremists who have been granted sanctuary in Canada and pose a threat to India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia today inaugurated Udan Bhawan, an integrated office complex at Safdarjung Airport in New Delhi . Udan Bhawan is equipped with modern conference rooms, an audio-visual system, information technology infrastructure, parking management system, a yoga room, a crèche facility and an EV charging station. During this program, Shri Scindia also launched the pilot e-wallet facility. The Ministry informed that the e-wallet will be especially useful for processing fees for various regulatory approvals in the Bharat Kosh portal. It will also act as a prepaid wallet, in which registered customers can deposit funds in advance. Initially, depositing money in this wallet will be allowed only through NEFT and RTGS.

The Finance Ministry approved several welfare schemes for the agents and employees of Life Insurance Corporation of India – LIC . The move will benefit over 13 lakh agents and over 1 lakh regular employees. The ministry has increased the gratuity limit for LIC agents from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh . This will make the re-appointed agents eligible for renewal commission. The ministry said that the insurance cover for agents has also been increased from the existing limit of between Rs 3,000 and Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 and Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand. Apart from this , family pension at a uniform rate of thirty percent has also been approved for the welfare of the families of LIC employees .
9 Government will give 8 percent rebate in loans to artisans under Vishwakarma Yojana.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the government will provide subsidy of up to 8 percent on loans given to artisans under the PM Vishwakarma scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday. The Finance Minister said during the launch program of the scheme that the government has already made a provision of Rs 13 thousand crore in the Budget 2023-24 . Sharing details of Vishwakarma Scheme, the Finance Minister said that artisans will be provided collateral free loans at a very affordable interest rate of 5 per cent . The scheme involves 18 traditional artisans from the region including carpenters, goldsmiths, blacksmiths, masons, stone carvers, barbers and boatmen. Government loan up to Rs 3 lakh The Finance Minister said, initially a loan of Rs 1 lakh will be given and after repayment for 18 months, the beneficiary will be eligible for an additional Rs 2 lakh.

Recently the Chief Justice of India (CJI) unveiled an initiative to increase transparency in the appointment of judges to the Supreme Court . To address the imperative of objective assessment of potential judicial appointments, the CJI has fielded a team of scholars, trainees and legal researchers . The main responsibility of this team is to comprehensively evaluate the top 50 judges of India who are being considered for appointment to the Supreme Court . Center for Research and Planning This initiative, under the aegis of ICICI Bank, has been taken to establish transparent selection criteria while protecting the confidentiality of the process. However, the specific criteria for identifying the top 50 judges have not yet been clarified. Till now, appointments have been made on the basis of a number of criteria, including seniority, regional representation and merit, following a memorandum of procedure prepared through Third Judge Cases.

12 IREDA signs MoU with Bank of Maharashtra for financing renewable energy projects
