Sub: RMSA Telangana, Hyderabad – Implementation of Vocational Courses in 20 Model Schools from the Academic year 2015-16 onwards – Request for conducting examination for the 9th grade (Theory) in NSQF Level-I, in the four selected trades – Requested – Reg.
It is hereby informed you that, under the Vocational Education Scheme the MHRD, Government of India has approved for the implementation of Vocational Courses in 20 Model Schools during the Academic Year 2015-16 and the courses are being implemented accordingly. The NSQF level-1 is being implemented in 9th class in all the 20 schools in the State with support from NSDC. In view of completion of Level-1 for class 9th students it is proposed to conduct assessment to these children in the selected four trades in both Theory and Practicals. The details of number of schools and trades, number of children etc. is given here under:

The weightage marks
for Practicals is 70% and
for Theory is 30% .
The Practical part of examinations have to be conducted by the Sector Skill Council from NSDC and Theory examination has to be conducted by the State Board.
In this regard all the DEOs are requested to conduct Theory exams (2015-16) for 9th class Vocational students in 20 Model Schools by following the existing vocational norms up to 9th class in regular schools under DCEB pattern and necessary syllabus is enclosed here with for ready reference.
