NEET UG Result 2024 will be announced on June 14, 2024; MBBS aspirants can check their NEET Scores at . Along with the NTA NEET Scores, the testing agency will publish the state-wise number of candidates registered, appeared, and qualified in 2023 and 2024, the list of top 50 candidates in NEET (UG) –2024, the list of 20 Female toppers In 2024, the list of 20 Male toppers in 2024 and the name of All India Rank(AIR) holders and others.

NTA has published the NEET UG 2024 Answer Key on May 29, 2024. Meanwhile, the last date to challenge the NEET Answer Key has been extended. Accordingly, candidates can raise objections against the NEET Provisional Key till June 1((Up to 11: 00 PM.). The payment of the processing fee may be made through a debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking by 2024 (upto 11: 00 PM.). Candidates can also submit representation against the OMR grading by paying a nonrefundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per question challenged. NEET UG Answer Key 2024: How to Challenge NEET Answer Key​

  • Please go to website .
  • 2. Click ‘Apply for Answer Key Challenge (s)’
  • 3. Select the Test Booklet Code.
  • 4. Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter Security Pin as displayed and submit.
  • 5. You will see the following Questions are in sequential order: NEET (UG) – 2024 50+50+50+50 Questions Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology.
  • The number next to the Question underthe column ‘Correct Option’standsforthe most appropriate Answer Key to be used by the NTA.
  • If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Options given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
  • You may want to upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).
  • After clicking your desired option, for Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology for NEET (UG) – 2024 ‘Save your Claim’ and move to the next screen.
  • You will see a screen displaying your challenges.
  • Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’.
  • Select Mode of Payment and Pay a processing fee @ ₹ 200/- for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
  • After successful payment, download/print the Answer Key challenge receipt.

NEET UG Answer Key 2024: Check NEET Answer Key Tie-Breaking Policy​


The inter-se-merit of candidates for tie-breaking: In case of two or more candidates obtain equal marks/percentile scores in the NEET (UG) – 2024, the inter-se-merit shall be determined as follows:

  • a. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test, followed by,
  • b. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Chemistry in the Test, followed by,
  • c. Candidate obtaining higher marks/percentile score in Physics in the Test, followed by,
  • d. Candidate with less proportion of the number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the Test,
  • e. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test, followed by
  • f. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry in the Test, followed by
  • g. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics in the Test, followed by

NEET UG Counselling​

  • The counselling for admission to the seats under the control of State Governments/ UT Administrations / State Universities/ Institutions shall be conducted by the designated authorities of the State Governments as per the notifications issued separately by the authorities concerned.
  • The Result of NEET (UG) – 2024 may be utilized by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/rules.
  • An All India Merit List of the qualified candidates shall be prepared based on All India Rank in the Merit List of the NEET (UG) – 2024 and candidates shall be admitted to Undergraduate Medical Courses from the said list only, with existing reservation policy.
  • During counselling, the eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of the eligible candidates shall be verified as per norms specified by the respective authorities and/or Medical / Dental Colleges. NTA does not have any responsibility towards the correctness/genuinity of the uploaded information/documents during the application process.
