The provisional result of the examination will be declared in September 2024 after the successful completion of the examination. The candidates will need to check their result through online mode.

The NTA will not issue the mark sheet for qualified or not qualified candidates. Candidates must take printout of UGC NET 2024 result for further use.

UGC NET 2024 Result Date​


The NTA will declare the UGC NET result 2024 through the online mode. The exam for June session will be held from 21st August to 4th September 2024. Result will be declared in September 2024. Candidates must check their results by entering their roll number, application number and date of birth on the website login page.

No candidates will be informed individually about the releasing of their result. The marks of all the candidates will be uploaded on the website after declaration of result.

How to Check UGC NET Result 2024​

  • Go to the official website of NTA (Link will be given above).
  • A new result page is opened on the screen.
  • Enter your roll number, application number and date of birth and click on the submit button.
  • Your result will appear in the PDf format.
  • Download it and take a printout of the result for further process.

UGC NET Answer Key 2024​


After the successful completion of UGC NET examination, the exam conducting authority has released the answer key for 55 NET subject. has been released on 7th September 2024. The final answer key will also be published after submission of objections.

Authority also provides with the facility to challenge the OMR Sheet/ answer key for candidates. For challenging each question, candidates must have to submit the Rs. 1000/. If the challenge is accepted by the authority, the fee will get refunded.

UGC NET Merit List 2024​


A separate category-wise and subject-wise merit list will be prepared for the candidates those obtained the qualifying percentile of marks. Top 15% candidates from the merit list will be declared NET qualified for eligibility of Assistant professor only.

Among NET qualified candidates a separate merit list will be carried out for the award of JRF. The qualifying marks criteria set by the NTA/UGC will be final.

UGC NET 2024 Selection Procedure​


Candidates qualifying the entrance exam UGC NET 2024 will get selected in subject & category wise merit list. Top 6% of total students who will appear for both papers in the test will be considered qualified in entrance test.

Candidates seeking admission into various Indian university/ institutions, the position of Assistant Professor/ JRF will be offered on the cut-off score secured as per the category
