TNSET Application Form 2023
Candidates can check the details about below:
- The application form for TNSET 2023 will be released from first week of June 2023.
- The application form will release through online mode.
- Candidates have to fill application form with details like personal, educational qualifications, communicational, etc.

How to Apply for TNSET 2023
- Step-1: Visit the website of TNSET 2023
- Step-2: To register click on “Registration” button and enter email and password.
- Step-3: Fill the application form with details like name, parent name, email id, phone number, etc.
- Step-4: Upload the scanned images and signature in application form after filling the details.
- Step-5: Pay the application fee through online mode by payment gateway.
- Step-6: Print the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
TNSET Eligibility Criteria 2023
Check the TNSET eligibility criteria 2023 here before applying for exam:
- Age Limit: There will be no upper age limit to apply for TNSET exam.
- Qualification: Candidate must pass with master’s degree or equivalent examination from any recognized university or institutions by UGC.
- Minimum Marks: Candidates must secure at least 55% marks (50% for OBC belonging to Non-Creamy Layer)/ Scheduled Caste (SC), Schedules Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PWD-VI/ HI/ PH).
- Appearing Candidates: Candidates who are appearing in final year of master’s degree program can apply for the exam.
TNSET Exam Pattern 2023
Following is the TNSET Exam pattern for 2023 below:
- Mode: The exam will be conducted in offline mode.
- Medium: The paper will be in English and Tamil language for some subjects.
- Type of Questions: The paper will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Marks: There will be total 100 marks for Paper I and for Paper II there will be total 200 marks.
- Duration: For Paper I, the duration of exam will be 1 hour for general and for PWD it will be 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- For Paper II the duration will be 2 hours for general and for PWD it will be 2 hours and 40 minutes.
- Total Questions: There will be total 50 questions in Paper I and for Paper II it will be 100 questions.
- Marking Scheme: For every correct answer 2 marks will be given and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

TNSET Syllabus 2023
TNSET Syllabus 2023 for the entrance examination is common for all subjects in which SET will be conducted. The exam authority will not send the syllabus to the candidates individually.
The questions in Paper II will be compulsory covering the entire syllabus which includes all electives without option.

TNSET Admit Card 2023
The TNSET 2023 exam admit card will release from second week of July 2023. The Admit Card download process can be completed with a login ID and password. Admit card will be available through online mode.
The candidates need to carry the with them while appearing for the examination as no candidate will be allowed to enter the hall without it. The admit card will contain all the essential details like candidates’ name, roll no, venue of the exam, date, and time.

TSNET Answer Key 2023
The candidates who will appear for TNSET 2023 exam will be able to download in July 2023. Candidates can check the Answer key by entering User Id and Password.
The answer key contains all the correct answers to questions that have come in entrance exam. TNSET 2023 answer key will be available through online mode and candidates will not receive answer key in offline mode.
TNSET Result 2023
will be declared through online mode. The authority will send the SMS to qualified candidates on their mobile number. The Result will get released from August 2023.
The total number of candidates who will qualify for eligibility for Assistant Professor shall be equal to 6% of candidates appearing in both Paper I and Paper II.
In case of the OC/ BC/ BCM/ MBC candidates must secure at least 40% aggregate marks in both paper in order to be considered in both papers.
In the case of reserved category candidates like (SC/ ST/ PWD) category, candidates must secure at least 35% aggregate marks in both papers.
TNSET Counselling 2023
The candidates will be shortlisted after the exam and qualified candidates will be called for Interview round. The candidates will be selected for the on the basis of their TNSET marks.
The candidates first have to clear the cut off prepared by the authority in order to participate in counselling round. Those candidates who will clear the Interview round will be considered as Assistant professor.

- Class 10th/ high school or its equivalent examination certificate
- Class 12th mark sheet/ grade sheet or equivalent qualifying
- 10 recent color photographs
- Graduation Degree/ Mark sheet
- TNSET Scorecard/ Result
