- Before filling the application form, candidates must check the eligibility criteria.

For Engineering Diploma Courses:
- Qualification: Candidate must pass 10th class or equivalent from any recognized board.
- Subject: In qualifying exam, candidate must pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Marks: Those candidates appearing in final exam must score at least 35% marks to be eligible for exam.
For Engineering Lateral Entry course:
- Qualification: Candidate must pass Diploma Engineering, 12th science vocational/ technical from RBSE/ CBSE Delhi or equivalent.
- Subject: In qualifying exam candidate must pass Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subject.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit prescribed.
For Non-Engineering Diploma course:
- Qualification: Candidate must qualify 10th class or equivalent from any recognized board.
- Marks: In qualifying exam candidate must obtain 35% marks to be eligible for admission.

How to Apply for Rajasthan Polytechnic 2023
Here are steps given for filling the online application form of Rajasthan Polytechnic 2023:
- Visit the website (link is available above).
- Click on Admission Tab and various courses will appear.
- Click on “Apply Online” link.
- Candidates have to register by entering basic details such as email id, mobile number, category wise.
- Click on Submit button and it will generate Unique Registration Number.
- Enter the details to fill the application form with details such as name, parents name, academic details, category, address, contact number, etc.
- After entering the details, candidate must upload the scanned documents like photograph, signature and category certificate.
- The size of scanned photograph must be 50 KB in JPG/ PNG/ GIF format.
- The scanned signature size must be 50 KB in JPG/ GIF/ PNG format.
- Candidate also have to upload the category certificate with 150 KB and Category B (Ex-Servicemen) file size must be 750 KB.
- Candidate have to make choice of the name of institute, branch, college type.
- After completing the application form, candidate must preview all the details.
