IKGPTU has appointed the authority to conduct the online centralized counselling for admission to the various courses. It will be organized in two rounds.
Candidates, firstly must have to register for the counselling & after that, they will be eligible for a choice filling round. The counselling registration and counselling fee payment will be started for various courses. The counselling will be organised on the basis 10+2 merit, JEE Main & NATA Score.
The courses for which no centralised counselling will be organised by the University, the PTU 2023 Admission into these courses will done through direct admission.
Those candidates must have to register for the courses in which they seek admission directly to the college website. 85% seat will be opened for the candidates, those from within the state. And 15% seat will be opened to the candidates who belong from outside the state.

Fee Payment:
To participate in the counselling, candidates will have to submit a counselling fee. The fee will be Rs. 2000/- for each course. It will be non-refundable. It will be paid through online mode (debit card/credit card/net banking). After successful fee payment, candidates should take a printout copy of the E-Deposit Slip. Candidates submitting fee after 1st round of counselling and wishing to participate in the 2nd round of counselling, need not to pay counselling fee again for 2nd round.
Online Registration:
Candidates will have to register for the counselling after submission of fee through online mode. Candidates should fill their basic details, qualifying marks percentage in the registration form. Candidates should fill the form carefully, no changes will be permitted after submission.
Choice Filling:
After registration, the choice filling process will be started on a given date. Candidates will have to fill their options of colleges or disciplines on the basis of their preferences. Candidate will have to fill the maximum number of available choices of colleges & branches. Candidates also alter/rearrange/delete the filled choices, as per the given schedule. Candidate should take a print copy of the filled choices for the record.
Seat Allotment/Result:
Candidates who get a seat, will be informed through SMS. Candidates will also have to login to their account & check for the seat allotment. The seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of rank, preferences of choices as filled, category, seat availability. Successful candidates will take a printout copy of the provisional allotment letter through a login.
Reporting:
Candidates, those get as seats, they will have to report to their respective allotted college within a given period. Candidates also will have to bring their documents/certificates & college fee. In case, candidates not report to the allotted institution within the specified period, their allotted seat will be cancelled. After that, candidates will not claim on the allotted seat.
PTU Admission 2023
After completion of the PTU Counselling 2023 process, candidates will have to report to the institutions to confirm their admission. The Institution will verify the documents of candidates as per the notified schedule.
In case, any document will find wrong, the candidate’s admission will be cancelled. After document verification, candidates will have to pay the college fee & confirm their admission. It is compulsory to verify the certificates & submit the college fee.
The admission into all the UG & PG courses will be based on national level exams & inter-se-merit, i.e. B.Tech (Inter-se-merit & JEE Main score), B.Tech LE (Diploma Holder/B.Sc graduate), B.Arch (NATA score & marks of qualifying examination), M.Tech (Inter-se-merit & GATE Score), MBA (Inter-se-merit & CMAT Score), B.Pharm (Inter-se-merit), MCA (Inter-se-merit), M.Pharm (GPAT score).
