PGIMER Nursing 2023 Application Form
Here we have mentioned the information about given below:
- The PGIMER Nursing Registration process will begin from second week of April 2023 for M.Sc. nursing & last week of May 2023 for B.Sc. nursing.
- Once the application form is filled, the candidates make sure for submitting the form through online process.
- Candidates can fill the application form with correct details like name, address, etc.
- All important information will be sent to candidates to their registered mail ID and number so it must valid/ working.
- The last date to submit the application form will be till second week of May 2023 for M.Sc. nursing & last week of June 2023 for B.Sc. nursing.
- Upload scanned documents i.e. photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- There will be no need to send application form by post to the authorities.
- Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
Application Fee
- The Application fee will be submitted through online mode only.
- Candidates can use Credit Card, Debit Card, and Net Banking payment gateways for the transaction of application fee.
- There will be no application fee for PWD candidates.
- Fee will be non-refundable once submitted.

- Step-1: Visit the website of PGIMER Nursing 2023.

PGIMER Nursing 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Below are the complete prescribed eligibility criteria for PGIMER Nursing 2023 examination:
For B.Sc. Nursing:
- Qualification: The minimum educational requirements shall be 12th exam passed from any recognized board.
- Subject: Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.
- Gender: Only female candidates will be allowed to apply.
- Marks: Candidates must have scored minimum 50% marks in aggregate to be eligible for admission.
- Age Limit: Candidates age should not be more than 35 years and not less than 17 years on 31st December 2023.
For B.Sc. Post Basic Nursing:
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th class or any other equivalent examination.
- Marks: Must have passed General Nursing and Midwifery with minimum 50% aggregate.
- Registration: Applying candidates must have registered as nurse and registered midwifery.
- Age Limit: Candidate’s age should not be more than 45 years as on 1st September 2023. The age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC and other reserved categories will be applicable as per the rules.
For M.Sc. Nursing:
- Qualification: Applying candidates must have B.Sc. Nursing or B.Sc. Post-Basic Nursing degree from any recognized board.
- Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 55% marks in their qualifying examination to be eligible for admission.
- Work Experience: Candidates must have minimum 1 year experience and registered as midwifery and general nurse.
PGIMER Nursing 2023 Exam Pattern
Following are the complete exam pattern for PGIMER Nursing 2023:
- Mode of Exam: The entrance examination will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) online mode only.
- Type of Questions: There will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Number of Questions: There will be total 100 questions asked in the exam.
- Medium: The medium of the paper will be in English medium only.
- Number of Shifts: The online entrance test will be conducted in 1 shift.
- Duration: The duration of exam will be 1 & ½ hours or 90 minutes to solve the paper.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: –0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

PGIMER Nursing 2023 Syllabus
PGIMER Nursing Syllabus is for B.Sc. Nursing (4 year course) will be based on the subjects and topics studied by the candidates in their 12th. The syllabus for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2 year course) will be based on the topics studied by the candidates in their Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).

The for B.Sc. Nursing and post-basic nursing will be made available from the first week of August 2023 and for M.Sc. the nursing result will be declared in the last week of June 2023.
The result will be available in the form of the merit list on the performance of the candidate in the national level entrance exam. Using the roll number and password candidates will be able to access their result in PDF format.
The result will be prepared according to the categories of reservation. The result will contain the candidate name, roll number, qualifying status and marks obtained.

Merit list of candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the online entrance examination. Merit list will be prepared for each category of candidates.

PGIMER Nursing 2023 Counseling
The for B.Sc. Nursing and post-basic will be started from the last week of August 2023 and for M.Sc. nursing will started from the first week of July 2023.
PGIMER Nursing Counseling will be conducted through offline mode followed by the interview procedure. Those candidates who are shortlisted within the merit list, they will be called for the counselling procedure and also the selected candidates will need to report at the counselling centre for verification.
