The OSOU admission will start in July 2023. The OSOU Admission’s last date will be 31 July 2023 (Tentative). Odisha State Open University runs lots of courses. The university has been running 11 Graduate and 14 Master’s degree courses. However, it runs 10 and 11 Diploma and Certificate courses, respectively. OSOU will soon begin accepting applications for the academic session 2023.
The selection of candidates for all courses will be on a merit basis. Candidates need to produce their 10+2 certificate from a recognized board for admission to Bachelor’s courses. Students who want to take admitted to a Master’s should have a Graduation degree from any recognized University.

OSOU UG Distance Education Admission

Also, OSOU provides a variety of specializations for each UG degree course.
OSOU BEd Distance Education Admission
A BEd program is a 2-year bachelor’s degree program provided after graduation. An integrated form of the course can also be pursued after the 12th class. After completing the BEd program, one may pursue a master’s degree in the same field as the BEd program and then apply for teaching positions.
OSOU PG Distance Education Admission
Odisha State Open University will soon initiate taking enrollments for master courses for sessions 2023. The University only admits students who hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 40% marks. Programs like MA, MCom & MSc are available in various specializations so that students can enroll in different fields on their own. The criteria to get a seat for PG courses at OSOU are based upon merit in the previous qualification.
OSOU Distance PGDM Admission
For admission to the Postgraduate Diploma in Management program at the Odisha State Open University, many students from all across India apply. Candidates must have completed their undergraduate studies from an Indian institution with at least 50% of the required grades in order to be eligible to apply for the PGDM program at OSU. This post-graduation program lasts for 18 months. PGDM courses at OSOU cost INR 7,500.

OSOU Distance Education Admission: Eligibility Criteria
- The eligibility criteria for OSOU Admission are similar to other universities in the country. Students need to show a 10+2 or equivalent certificate during OSOU Admission in Bachelor’s degree courses. The University has set a minimum duration of three years and six years for UG courses.
- Students who want to pursue their Master’s from Odisha State Open University should have a Graduation degree. The minimum period of the course is two years, while the maximum is four years.
