Following are the details about Application Form with some key instructions given below:
- The application form for NEST 2023 has been released on 27th February 2023.
- Application form is made available through online mode. Any offline method is not provided to fill the form.
- Fill the application form with details like personal, educational qualification details etc.
- Upload the scanned images of candidate’s photograph, signature to complete the form.
- Details in application form must be correct as correction facility will be provided from 26th to 29th May 2023.
- The last date to submit the application form is till 17th May 2023.
- Candidates need to take the printout of the application form for future reference.
Documents Required for NEST 2023 Application:
- Valid email id and mobile number
- Scanned Signature
- Passport size photograph
- Class 10th and 12th mark sheet
- Category certificate, etc.
Application Fee:
- The application fee can be submitted through online mode.
- Candidates are able to pay the fee using Debit card, Credit card or Net Banking methods.
Application fee structure is given for different categories below:

| SC/ ST/ PWD and for all female candidates | Rs. 600/- |
NEST 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The Criteria 2023 is provided below:
- Qualification: Candidate must pass 12th/ Intermediate or its equivalent exam from any recognised board.
- Age Limit: Candidate must have born on or after 1st August 2003. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
- Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates) to be eligible for admission.
- Appearing: Class 12th appearing candidates will also be eligible to apply for the exam.

How to Apply for NEST 2023
Check the step by step procedure for filling the online application of NEST 2023:
- Visit the online website (link is provided above).
- Click on “New candidate registration” link for registering the online application form.
- Fill the registration form with details like name, email id, roll number, date of birth, and captcha code.
- After filling the registration details candidate will receive user id and password through SMS and Email.
- After registering candidate have to fill the application form.
- To fill the application form candidate, have to enter details like personal, academic details, exam center, phone number, etc.
- Upload the scanned documents like photograph and signature to complete the application form.
- The photograph and signature file must not be more than 80 KB each and must be in .jpg or .jpeg format only.
- Now candidate have to select the payment mode for completing the transaction.
- Candidate will be able to submit the fee through online mode using Debit card, Credit card, and Net Banking.
- Download the application form and take the printout of same and fee receipt for future reference.
