MP PAT 2023 Exam Pattern
Students preparing for MP PAT 2023 Entrance exam must go through the complete exam pattern:
- Exam Mode & Sessions: MP PAT 2023 entrance exam will be organised through online mode in two sessions.
- Language Medium:The question paper will be available in Hindi and English medium.
- Number and Type of Questions: The question paper will contain total of 200 multiple choice questions.
- Time Duration: Total time duration to complete the exam will be of 3 hours.
- Subjects: For B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) programme, the question paper will contain questions from the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. For B.Sc. Agriculture, Horticulture and Forestry programmes, the question paper will contain questions from the subjects of Physics, Biology and Chemistry.

MP PAT 2023 Marking Scheme
The marking scheme of MP PAT entrance test 2023 will be as mentioned below:
- The questions paper of MP PAT 2023 for various programmes will be of total 200 marks.
- For each correct answer, +1 mark will be awarded.
- Negative marking will not be applicable.
MP PAT 2023 Syllabus
The of B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering)/ B.Sc (Agriculture)/ B.Sc (Forestry)/ B.Sc(Horticulture) will contain various topics from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.

Physics:
Unit and dimensions, S.I. Units, dimensional analysis, Motion in two dimensions, Cases of uniform velocity and uniform acceleration, Uniform circular motion Force and inertia, General relation among position and velocity, Static and kinetic friction.
Newton’s Laws of motion, Conservation of momentum and energy, Elastic collisions, Work, energy and power, Gravitational Potential energy and its angular conversion to kinetic energy, Potential energy.
Rigid body rotation and conservation of its momentum, Potential energy of a spring, Moment of inertia, theorems of parallel and perpendicular axis etc.
Chemistry:
Chemical Bond, Solutions, Solid State, lonic radii, Imperfections (Point defects), nuclear chemistry radioactive radiations, Chemical Equilibrium, Ionic Equilibrium in solutions, Solubility product, common ion effect.
Theories of acids and base hydrolysis of salts, Thermochemistry and Thermodynamics, Chemical Kinetic, Electrochemistry, Surface chemistry, Colloids and Catalysis; Adsorption, Colloids, Emulsions, Micelles, Catalysis, etc.
Mathematics:
Algebra, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate geometry of two dimensions, Co-ordinate geometry of three dimensions, Vector algebra, Differential calculus, Integral calculus, Differential equations, Statistics, Numerical methods, Linear programming, etc.
Biology:
Structural organization of cell, cell theory, Light and Electron Microscopic view of cell, Structure and functions of cell organelles.
Five Kingdom classification Binomial Nomenclature, Difference between prokaryote and Eukaryotes, Ecosystem Role of plants in human welfare.
Food preservation, Tissue and tissue systems, Meristematic and permanent tissue, Mineral nutrition-essential elements and their functions etc.
