Karnataka University Distance Education Admission 2023: Karnataka University is to start the portal for admission into the regular courses for the new academic session very soon. The aspiring students would be needed to reach out to the university’s official academic portal and complete the registration process before the last date.

Note: Karnataka University does not offer admission into courses via distance learning mode as per guidelines. Students’ questions are only clarified in this article. In the Regular Mode, students can apply for admission.

At present, the Karnataka University distance institution is not offering UG and PG courses in several branches of education such as arts, commerce, humanities, etc. The Karnataka University SCE offers various facilities to ease the learning process of students. Here, students shall get study materials in hard copy mode from the nearest college.

There are two times a year when KUD-SCE opens its doors on a first-come, first-served basis. The first time is in January, and the second time is in July. Currently, the primary mode of approving admissions is through online mode. However, the university does offer offline access as well.

Karnataka University Distance Education Eligibility


  • For Karnataka University Distance Education MBA Admission: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university. They have at least a 50% grade point average.


  • For Dharwad open university BA admission: Students must have passed the 12th level education from any well-known and recognized board in India. Students of all streams are eligible to apply for a Bachelor of Arts.

  • Students can only enrol in BCom programs if they have completed their 10+2 education in the relevant stream from a recognized university.
  • BA students must have completed their intermediate qualification with at least 45% marks from a recognized university.
  • Students are eligible for the MA programme based on their previous degrees and qualifying marks.

Karnataka University Distance Education Result


Academics at Karnataka University follow a semester-based calendar. Its academic year is split into two semesters: an odd semester and an even semester. Students can request a Re-Evaluation (Revel) and Recheck if they are dissatisfied with their grades. Within 15 days of the day the results were announced, any student may apply for a result revaluation or rechecking.
