JNU 2024 Application Form will be released in the second week of February 2024 through CUET. Admission in the university will be followed by CUET (Common University Entrance Test). National Testing Agency (NTA) is the conducting authority of CUET examination. It is conducted for the admission into various UG courses as well as post-graduate courses (PG) in Jawaharlal Nehru University. This entrance exam is conducting for shortlisting the candidates for various UG, PG level programs at JNU. JNU 2024 Application Form​

  • The JNU application form 2024 will be released through online mode. No other mode will be provided to the candidates.
  • Candidates will be able to fill the application form from the second week of February 2024 through CUET.
  • Firstly, candidates will have to register for the exam by providing the basic details like name, father’s name, DOB, etc.
  • The JNU 2024 application form for PG courses will be released from the last week of March 2024 through online mode.
  • After the completion of the application process, the authority will also provide the correct facility to the candidates.
  • Candidates will have to upload the documents as per the given specification.
  • Submit the online application fee to complete the procedure and submit the application form.
  • At last, take a hardcopy of the filled form for further usage in admission procedure.

Application Fee:

  • The JNU 2024 application fee will be submitted through online mode.
  • Candidates will have to use the payment options like SBI/ Syndicate/ Paytm payment gateway through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI.

How to Apply for JNU 2024 Admission:​


Following are the steps to fill the form:

  • Visit the website of JNU (Link will be given above).
  • Click on the “Online Registration” link and enter the email id and mobile number.
  • Fill the application form with details like personal, educational, address, etc.
  • Now upload the images of photo and signature in the given format.
  • Submit the application fee through online mode as per the course.
  • After checking the details, submit the application form.
  • Take a hardcopy of the form and safe it for admission procedure.

JNU 2024 Eligibility Criteria​


Candidates can go through given details of before filling the form:

For B.A. (Hons) 1st year:

  • Qualification: To be eligible candidates must have passed class 12th level exam or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
  • Percentage: Candidates must score at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Age Limit: The candidates age must be 17 years as on 1st October 2024. There will be no age limit for any other program.
  • Appearing: The appearing candidates in their final examination in year 2024 will also be eligible to apply for the JNU.

For MA Program:

  • Qualification: To appear for MA program, candidates must be Bachelor’s degree holders in any stream.
  • Percentage: Candidates must score minimum 55% marks in the qualifying exam to apply for the exam.

For M.Tech. (Statistical Computing):

  • Qualification: The Bachelor’s or Master’s degree holders in the required stream will be eligible to apply.
  • Subject: Applying candidates must have master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operational research, or in any other science branch.
  • Percentage: Candidates must score at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

For MCA:

  • Qualification: A bachelor’s degree holder in BCA or its equivalent will be eligible to the exam.
  • Subject: Candidates must have Mathematics as a mandatory subject to apply for the exam.
  • Percentage: Applying candidates must score at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

JNU 2024 Exam Pattern​


Following are the complete details related to :

For UG (CUET UG):

  • Mode of Exam: The exam mode will be online (Computer Based Test) mode.
  • Duration: Exam will be held on multiple days in three slots per day.
  • Medium: The exam will be available in English language only.
  • Types of Questions: The test will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Number of Questions: Total 100 questions will be asked in the exam.
  • Marking Scheme: For every correct response, 1 mark will be given.
  • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in the exam.

For PG (CUET PG):

  • Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted through online (Computer based) mode.
  • Duration: Candidates will be given 2 hours to solve the exam.
  • Number of Questions: Each paper will consist of 100 questions.
  • Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be given for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.

JNU Admission 2024 Syllabus​


The JNU syllabus 2024 will depends on the candidates to choose the course during filling the application form. The JNU 2024 (CUET UG) syllabus for UG courses will be consist of topics of class 11th and 12th level. Candidates will have to read the books of class 11th and 12th to prepare.

For PG admission through CUET PG, syllabus will consist of topics from UG level subjects.

JNU 2024 Admit Card​


will be released in the second week of May 2024. The authority will release the admit card through online mode only. It will consist of details like candidate name, time, address, roll number, exam date, reporting time, and other exam day instructions.

The authority will not sent the admit card through post or any other offline method to the registered candidates. Candidates are advised to keep the hardcopy of the admit card for the day of examination.

JNU 2024 Answer Key​


The authority will publish the through online mode for various program on the website. Appeared candidates in the entrance examination will be able to access the answer key. Candidates will be able to download the subject wise answer key in pdf format.

Candidates will also get the opportunity to raise an objection against the answer key in case of any doubts. The final answer key will be published by the authority after examine all the raise objections.

JNU 2024 Result​


After releasing the answer key, the authority will declare the through online mode. It will be publish in the second week of July 2024 on the website. Candidates will be required to enter their login details such as registration number and date of birth.

The authority will release the merit list for admission to the different courses. on the basis of the result. Those candidates whose name will be there in the merit list will be called to participate in the further counselling procedure.

JNU 2024 Counselling​


The will be organized through offline mode for all the qualified candidates. Those candidates who will be shortlisted after the release of the merit list will be called for the counselling round. It will be commenced from the third week of July 2024.

All the admission formalities like checking all the required documents, payment of admission fee will take place at the time of counselling. The university will verify the original documents of the candidates. After the verification of the documents and payment of admission fees, the admission will be confirmed.

  • Class 10th/ high school or its equivalent exam certificate
  • Class 12th mark sheet/ grade sheet or equivalent qualifying
  • 10 recent color photographs
  • Graduation Degree/ Mark sheet
  • Master’s Degree/ Mark sheet
  • Migration/ transfer/ character certificate from the last attended institution
  • SC/ ST/ OBC Category certificate, etc.
