JEE Main 2023​


The complete exam analysis for is updated after the conclusion of the shifts. The exam for Session 1 was from 24th, 25th, 29th, 30th, 31st January & 1st February 2023 (Paper 1 (B.E/ B.Tech), Shift 1 & Shift 2) & 28th January 2023 (Paper 2A & 2B – B.Arch/ B.Plan). After the students appear for the exam, complete analysis is being updated online.

The exam for 2nd session is scheduled on 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th & 15th April 2023. Students will be provided complete exam analysis for 2nd session and answer keys after the exam shifts.

JEE Main Paper Analysis (Session 2)​

Day 1 Shift I (6th April 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The Day 1 shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Exam has been updated after its conclusion. As per the students, the overall paper was moderate in difficulty level.

In Physics section, there were questions which were easy in difficulty level. Whereas, Chemistry & Mathematics section were considered moderate in difficulty level.

In chemistry section there were questions NCERT based from Physical chemistry and organic chemistry. 5 questions were from polymers and biomolecules and 3D vectors in Mathematics section. Also there were 4 questions from alternating current and magnetism as per students.

Day 1 Shift II (6th April 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been successfully conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. As per the students reactions, the paper was overall easy to moderate in difficulty level.

In Physics section, there were questions from topics – circular motion, semiconductor, assertion questions, etc. It was considered easy in difficulty level.

In Chemistry section, there were topics related to environmental chemistry, chemical bonding, reaction mechanisms, etc. Overall this section was considered easy to moderate by students. There were mostly questions from NCERT.

In Mathematics section, there were topics like calculus, statistics, coordinate geometry, calculus, 3D vector, etc. So, overall this section was calculative and relatively lengthy.

Day 2 Shift I (8th April 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The Day 2 shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2023 Session 2 Exam has been updated after its conclusion. According to the aspirants, the overall paper was easy to moderate in difficulty level.

In Physics section, there were questions which were easy and topics were from semiconductor, fluid mechanics, etc.

In Chemistry section, the asked questions were easy, and most of them were from physical (Numerical), NCERT based, polymer, biomolecules, etc.

In Mathematics section, the paper was lengthy in nature containing questions based on probability, sequence and series more.

Day 2 Shift II (8th April 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been updated after its conclusion. According to the appeared students, the overall paper was easier than the session 1 attempt.

Physics section had questions from topics – Gravitation, moment of inertia, unit and dimension, communication, etc. Overall this section was considered easy.

The Chemistry section was also considered easy in difficulty level and there were questions from topics like polymers, biomolecules, etc.

However about the Mathematics section, students considered it comparatively tougher than the other two subjects. It was lengthy and calculative in nature.

Day 3 Shift I (10th April 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been conducted for 10th April successfully. According to the students review about exam, the paper was overall easy in difficulty level.

For Mathematics section, most of the questions were from mathematical reasoning. It was calculative and lengthy one.

For Chemistry section, students said that the paper had almost covered all the topics like – Biomolecules, polymer, chromatography, etc. There were less questions in physical chemistry on comparison to inorganic and organic chemistry.

In physics section, there were most topics from ray optics, 11th mechanics focused more, communication system, thermodynamic, etc.

JEE Main Paper Analysis (Session 1)​

Day 1 Shift I (24th January 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been successfully conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. As per students feedback the paper was overall moderate in difficulty level.

In the Chemistry section, there were questions from organic and inorganic chemistry and had weightage as compared to physical. The physical organic chemistry had more numerical type questions.

In Physics section, questions were asked from POC, EM waves, Semi conductor, etc.

In Mathematics section, the questions asked were difficult and lengthy and students reaction for this section was moderate to easy. Also, there were mathematics reasoning question and from Vector 3D.

Day 1 Shift II (24th January 2023):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2023 Exam has been conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. As per the students feedback, the paper was overall easy in difficulty level comparing to previous year.

In Mathematics section, the questions were directly asked and were from topics – Integration, statistics, sets, calculus, etc. This section was moderately easy in difficulty level.

In Chemistry section, there were questions directly asked from NCERT and from topics like IOC, everyday chemistry, inorganic chemistry. However, physical organic chemistry had more weightage. This section was overall considered easy in difficulty level by the students.

In Physics section, the paper was overall easy. There were questions from topics – wave part, semiconductor, etc. Also most questions were memory based and were NCERT level.

Day 2 Shift I (25th January 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (25th January) has been updated after its conclusion. The exam was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. The paper was overall considered moderate in difficulty level by the students. Most of the questions were from NCERT.

In Mathematics section, mostly questions were from class 11th. There were questions from topics like 3D, vector, integration topics, etc. Overall this section was considered to be moderate in level difficulty level and was lengthy and calculative.

In Physics section, there were questions from topics like – semiconductor, electricity, gravitation, etc. In the paper, modern physics was more prevalent. Formula based questions were asked more. Overall this section as per students was easy.

In Chemistry section, Organic and physical chemistry has maintained good ratio. In physical chemistry the topics asked were Block chemistry. There were less questions from NCERT today.

Day 2 Shift II (25th January 2023):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (25th January) has been updated after its conclusion. As per the students reaction, the paper was overall easy in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, the questions were calculative and lengthy and had reasoning based questions. There were questions from vector and function topics. Overall this section was considered to be easy in difficulty level.

In Chemistry section, there were mostly NCERT based questions. There were most questions from inorganic chemistry. This section was also considered to be easy in difficulty level by the students.

In Physics section, the questions asked in the paper were from modern physics and capacitance topic. There were formula based questions so this section was considered to be moderate in difficulty level by the students.

Day 3 (28th January 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The single shift for paper 2 of JEE Main 2023 Exam (28th January) was conducted from 3 pm to 6.30 pm. It was organised for B.Arch & B.Plan paper. As per the reaction of the appeared students, the paper was overall easy to moderate in difficulty level. Students said that the exam was lengthy and there were only 2 drawing questions instead of 4 without any option provided.

In General Aptitude section, there were Patronous tower and monument matching questions asked. Overall this section was easy.

The Mathematics section was considered moderate in difficulty level by the students. The topics from which the questions were asked were from – determinants, circle, 3D, limits, series, hyperbola, etc.

Also, the Aptitude section was moderate in difficulty level. There were questions from Orthographic projection, paper folding, mirror image, series completion topics, etc.

Day 4 Shift I (29th January 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (29th January) has been updated after its conclusion. The exam was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. The paper was overall considered moderate in difficulty level by the students.

In Mathematics section, questions were from topics like geometry, vector, statistics, etc. Overall this section was considered easy to moderate in difficulty level. However, it was lengthy and calculative and there were less number of questions from matrices.

In Physics section, there were questions from topics like – semiconductor, kinematics, etc. Overall this section as per students was moderate in difficulty level and there were formula based questions.

In Chemistry section, there were most questions from Organic chemistry. Also there were questions NCERT based. 1 or 2 questions were from physical chemistry. Overall this section was easy.

Day 4 Shift II (29th January 2023):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (29th January) has been conducted successfully. As per the students reaction, the paper was overall moderate in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, the questions were lengthy & calculative. There were questions from vector, lines, integration, 3D, algebra, etc. Overall this section was considered difficult by the students.

In Chemistry section, there were mostly NCERT based questions. There were most questions from organic, biomolecules, resonance topics, surface chemistry, chemical kinetics, etc. This section was considered easy by the students.

In Physics section, the questions asked in the paper were from modern physics, communication, semi-conductor, electricity, etc. There were two questions from newtons law. Overall section was also considered easy by the students.

Day 5 Shift I (30th January 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (30th January) has been updated. The exam was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. The paper was overall considered easy by the students.

In Mathematics section, questions were from topics like Integration, vector, lines, algebra, 3D, limit, matrices, PNC, probability, area under curve, calculus, etc. This section was considered moderate in difficulty level. However, it was lengthy and calculative.

In Physics section, there were questions from topics like modern physics, semiconductor, communication system, optics, magnetism, electrostatistics, unit & dimension, kinematics, etc. Overall this section as per students was easy.

In Chemistry section, there were most questions NCERT based and from solubility, thermodynamics, etc. Also, there were questions from organic, inorganic, pdf block, environmental chemistry, etc. topics. Overall this section was easy.

Day 5 Shift II (30th January 2023):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (30th January) has been conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. Student’s reaction has been updated after its conclusion. Overall difficulty level was considered easy by the students.

In Physics section, there were number of questions from topics with Modern Physics, semi conductors, optics, EM waves, electromagnetic induction and others. This section was considered easy in difficulty level.

In Chemistry section, there were questions from topics like chemical bonding, polymers, IOC, periodic properties, etc. Questions were asked from NCERT. This section was considered easy.

In Mathematics section, there were questions asked from matrices, 3D, probability, etc. This section was calculative and tricky. The difficulty level was moderate comparing to physics and chemistry section.

Day 6 Shift I (31st January 2023):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (31st January) has been released. The exam was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. The paper was overall considered moderate in difficulty level by the students.

In Mathematics section, questions were from topics like GP, integral, mean variation, vector, variation, sequence series, 3D, mathematical reasoning, etc. This section was considered moderate in difficulty level.

In Physics section, the questions from topics like EM waves, modern physics, semiconductor, electromagnetic induction, etc. Overall the difficulty level of this section was easy.

In Chemistry section, there were most questions NCERT based and from organic chemistry. The topics asked in this section were from organic, surface tension, optics, biomolecules, aldehyde ketones, etc. topics. Overall this section was moderate in difficulty level.

Day 6 Shift II (31st January 2023):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (31st January) has been conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. Student’s reaction has been updated after its conclusion. Overall difficulty level of JEE Main 2023 paper was moderate.

In Physics section, questions were asked from various topics such as Mechanics, semiconductor, EM waves, magnetic field, thermodynamics, AC, Round Modules etc. The paper was formula based, mainly dominated by Mechanics. Overall difficulty level of this section was easy.

In chemistry section, questions were based on NCERT syllabus. The paper had various topics i.e., kinetics, organic, chemistry in everyday life, metallurgy, ketones, etc. Difficulty level of this section was Moderate.

In mathematics section, questions were asked from integral, sequence series, statistics, Trigonometry, AP and GP. Overall difficulty of this section was moderate level as it was calculative and lengthy.

Day 7 Shift I (1st February 2023):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 1 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (1st February) has been conducted successfully from 09: 00 am to 12: 00 noon. Student’s reaction has been updated after its conclusion. Overall difficulty level of paper was easy.

In Physics section, questions were asked from various topics of 11th level such as POC, semiconductor, modern physics, optics, EM waves, electromagnetic induction. Difficulty level of this section was easy.

In chemistry section, questions were based on NCERT subjects. Majorly questions were asked from Inorganic chemistry, polymers, block chemistry, ketones, chemistry in everyday life. The overall difficulty level of this section was also easy.

In Mathematics section, questions were asked from matrices, series and sequence, 3D, statistics, etc. This section was considered lengthy & calculative by students. Therefore, it was moderate in difficulty level.

Day 7 Shift II (1st February 2023):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper analysis of JEE Main 2023 Exam (1st February) will be conducted from 03: 00 pm to 6: 00 pm. Student’s reaction will be updated after its conclusion. The overall difficulty level of paper was easy.

In Physics section, questions were asked from semiconductor, modern physics, optics, mechanics, induction, optics, current, mirror, etc. The difficulty level of this section was easy.

In Chemistry section, questions will be NCERT based. The paper included topics such as organic chemistry, polymers, reactions, chemistry in everyday life. The difficulty of this section was easy level.

In Mathematics section, question paper contained topics such as coordinates, matrices, reasoning, and 3D. The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate level.

JEE Main Previous Year Exam Analysis​


The session 2 exam of JEE Main was held held from 25th July to 30th July 2022. Paper analysis can be checked below after every exam shift:

Day 1 Shift I (25th July 2022):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam has been successfully conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. As per students feedback the paper was overall moderate in difficulty level.

The Physics section was easy to moderate in difficulty level. The questions were from topics like – communication system, semi conductor, ac, etc.

For Mathematics section, students said that the questions were lengthy but moderate in difficulty level. Some students considered this session easier than the Session 1 paper. There were questions from topics like – Statistics, Mathematical reasoning, etc.

While for Chemistry section, students said it was easy. The topics were – Block chemistry, chain chemistry, polymer, chemistry in everyday life, etc. Mostly questions asked were from NCERT.

Day 1 Shift II (25th July 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam has been successfully conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. As per students feedback the exam was considered moderate overall in its difficulty level.

Physics section was easy and had formula based questions from various topics such as communication system, logic gates, capacitors, etc.

In Mathematics section, there were questions from topics such as Sets, integration, mathematical reasoning, coordinate geometry, probability, etc. This section was considered moderate to difficult by test takers.

About the chemistry section, candidates gave feedback as moderate in difficulty level. The questions were from topics – Inorganic chemistry, polymers, hybridisation, etc.

Day 2 Shift I (26th July 2022):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam Day 2 has been conducted successfully from 9 am to 12pm. As per the feedback of students, the paper of shift 1 was considered moderate in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, there were lengthy & tricky questions from topics – definite integrals & functions, binomial theorem, hyperbola, etc. More time was consuming because of calculative part.

The Chemistry section had easy level of questions, from physical and organic chemistry and more weightage was given to it. It had mostly questions from NCERT section.

The physics paper was considered easy to moderate in difficulty level. There were few numerical based questions which had lengthy calculations but were easy to solve. So, overall this section was balanced as per students.

Day 2 Shift II (26th July 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam (26th July) has been conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. According to the students appeared for the shift, the exam was overall difficult. Mathematics section was toughest one of all three sections.

In Physics section, there were questions from topics – Heat and Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, AC circuits, wave & sound, mechanics, em waves, etc. Few numerical based questions were easy. So, this section was easy to moderate in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, there were questions from topics – matrices, ellipse and hyperbola, probability, etc. The calculations were lengthy in numerical based questions according to the students. Also, there were tricky questions. Overall this section was moderate in difficulty level.

In chemistry, the level of paper was easy as per students’ feedback. There were questions from topics like Environmental Chemistry, Ores and Metallurgy, etc. in Inorganic Chemistry. While Organic chemistry had questions from Amines & Biomolecules, Phenols, etc. from the NCERT. Physical chemistry had more weightage than Inorganic and organic chemistry. Numerical questions from physical chemistry were easy.

Day 3 Shift I (27th July 2022):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam has been concluded from 9 am to 12 pm. As per the students feedback the paper was overall moderate in difficulty level. Questions were from NCERT.

The mathematics section was considered the toughest of all sections. There were questions from statistics, mathematical reasoning, etc.

Physics section had questions from topics – Current and electricity, communication, semi conductors, etc. This section was considered moderate in difficulty level.

Chemistry section was considered easiest of all three sections. The questions were from topics – Chemistry in everyday life, polymers, biomolecules, etc.

Day 3 Shift II (27th July 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam was conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. According to the students who appeared for this exam shift, the paper was overall difficult.

The physics section and chemistry section was considered moderate in difficulty level. While, Mathematics was difficult one.

The questions in Physics section were from topics – Biomolecules, polymers, chemistry in everyday life, etc. In mathematics section there were questions from topics – Hyperbola, parabola, mathematical reasoning, calculus, etc. In Chemistry section, the questions were asked from various topics – EM waves, Semiconductors, current electricity, photoelectric effect, etc.

Students said that on comparison to previous sessions, this session was tougher.

Day 4 Shift I (28th July 2022):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam was conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. As per the students feedback the exam was over all moderate in difficulty level.

On asking about section wise analysis, the students said that Mathematics section was lengthy and tough. While Chemistry section was considered easiest one and Physics section was moderate in difficulty level.

In physics section there were questions from semiconductor, communication system, current electricity, capacitors, etc. In Mathematics section, the questions were from topics – parabola, hyperbola, coordinate geometry, statistics, mathematical reasoning, etc.

For Chemistry section, students said that the topics from which the questions were asked are – polymer, bio-molecules, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, etc.

Day 4 Shift II (28th July 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam started from 3pm and concluded till 6 pm. The students feedback about the paper has been released. According to the students the paper was overall moderate in difficulty level.

The Physics section was lengthy and was easy to moderate in difficulty level. The various topics from which the questions were asked current electricity, semi conductors, communication system, etc.

In Mathematics section, students feedback was that it was tough. There were questions from topics such as mathematical reasoning, geometry, etc.

In chemistry section, there were questions from topics – Bio-molecules, polymer and from physical chemistry, etc. This section was easier than other sections.

Day 5 Shift I (29th July 2022):


Analysis According to Students:

The shift 1 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam has been conducted from 9 am to 12 pm. According to students the paper of Day 5 Shift 1 (2nd session) was moderate in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, the questions were lengthy and tough. The topics from which the questions were asked in this section were – parabola, hyperbola, limits, integration, mathematical reasoning, statistics, etc.

In Chemistry section, the questions were mostly NCERT based. On asking about the difficulty level of this section, students said that it was the easiest of all three sections.

About Physics paper, the students said that few questions were from current electricity, semi conductor, communication, etc. Overall this section was moderate in difficulty level.

Day 5 Shift II (29th July 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam was conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. As per student’s feedback about the paper, the exam was moderate in difficulty level.

In Physics section, there were questions from topics – communication, semi conductor, current electricity, etc. Overall this section was considered as moderate in difficulty level.

The Mathematics section was considered lengthy and tough. There were questions from topics – mathematical reasoning, hyperbola, limits, statistics, parabola, integration, etc.

Chemistry section was easiest one. As there were mostly questions from NCERT.

JEE Main 2022 First Session​


The session 1 exams of JEE Main are being held from 23rd June to 29th June 2022. Paper analysis are being updated below after every exam shift.

Day 1 Shift I (23rd June 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The first shift of JEE Main 2022 Exam for Paper 2 (B.Arch) has been conducted successfully. According to the feedback of the students, the paper of this session was of moderate level.

The paper followed the pattern of NCERT. The difficulty level of paper was moderate with level of questions falling in mid-range. However, as per some students few questions in Mathematics section was found to be difficult in nature. The questions in aptitude section were considered easy in nature by some students. In drawing section, the questions were moderate in difficulty level.

Analysis According to Institutions: As per the analysis made by FIITJEE, the paper was moderate in difficulty level. In Mathematics section, the questions were considered moderate to difficult. As per the students, there were numerical based few lengthy questions involving calculations. More weightage was given to 3D geometry chapter.

The drawing section has easy level of questions. One questions was of colouring scene of Holi festival, redraw given figures with correct proportions, question on color scheme of logo of Burger king.

In Aptitude section, there were easy to moderate level of questions. The questions were mostly from 3-dimensional figures.

As per the feedback of the students, the shift 2 paper of day 1 was easy to moderate in difficulty level of paper. Analysis According to Students: The first shift of JEE Main 2022 Exam for Paper 1 has been conducted successfully. According to the feedback of the students, the paper of this session was moderate in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, the questions were from topics – mathematical induction, vectors, P & C, etc. This section as per the students was considered hard and calculative in nature.

The physics section was considered easier than other sections. As per candidates, more questions were asked from core physics chapters like POC, waves, semiconductors, etc.

Chemistry section was considered as moderate in difficulty level by the students. There were NCERT based questions and straight forward.

Analysis According to Students: The 2nd shift of JEE Main 2022 Exam has been conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. According to feedback of the students, paper was easy to moderate in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, there were some questions which were more calculative in nature. Overall this section was moderate in difficulty level. Those who have prepared by solving mock tests might achieve good score in this section.

In Chemistry section, the organic portion was less. The questions which were integers type had negative marking and students have to select nearest integer. So, overall this section was considered easy by students.

In Physics portion, the students considered it to be moderate in difficulty level. There was more of numerical portion than the theoretical portion.

Analysis According to Students: The first shift of JEE Main 2022 Exam for Paper 1 has been conducted successfully from 9 to 12 noon. According to the feedback of the students, the paper was easy to moderate in difficulty level.

In Mathematics section, the questions were more from calculus. There were questions which were considered moderate to high in difficulty level.

The physics section has questions from various topics like – optics, work energy, rotational motion, etc. There were questions which were mainly of 11th level and were formula based.

Chemistry section had more questions from physical chemistry and inorganics. Mostly this section had questions from NCERT books.

In Physics section, the topics were – electromagnetic waves, optical instrument, communication system, kinematics, etc. Students said that this section was moderate in difficulty level.

In Chemistry section, there were topics like liquid solutions, polymers, organic has high weightage, lead reactions, etc. As per students feedback, this section was easy in difficulty level.

Analysis According to Students: The first shift of JEE Main 2022 Exam for Paper 1 has been conducted successfully from 9 to 12 noon. The paper was considered to be moderate in difficulty level. Students found Mathematics section as toughest one compared to Physics & Chemistry section.

Talking about section wise feedback of the students, the Mathematics section was considered to be difficult. While for Chemistry section, the students said that this section was easy and Physics section was moderate in difficulty level.

Analysis According to Institutions: As per the analysis made by FIITJEE, the Mathematics section was found to be moderately tough. There were questions from topics – Mathematical reasoning, functions, area under curves, parabola. Some of the questions were tricky.

The physics section had few fact based questions from 12th level of NCERT. There were questions from topics – magnetism, current electricity, rotational motion, kinematics, heat & thermodynamics, etc. In this section, the questions were numerical based which were easy in nature.

In Chemistry section, Physical chemistry had more weightage compared to inorganic and organic chemistry. The numerical based questions were mostly from Physical Chemistry. The questions in paper were from – Mole concept, coordination chemistry, chemistry in everyday life, etc.

Day 4 Shift II (26th June 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The 2nd shift of JEE Main 2022 Exam was successfully conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. This shift was overall considered moderate in difficulty level. Students mentioned that Mathematics section was considered as toughest & lengthy one.

While talking about Physics and Chemistry section, the physics section was considered moderate in difficulty level by the students and chemistry was considered to be easy one.

Day 5 Shift I (27th June 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The first shift of JEE Main 2022 Exam for Paper 1 (Day 5) has been conducted successfully from 9 to 12 noon. According to the feedback of students, this shift was considered overall moderate in difficulty level.

Talking about section wise difficulty level, the students mentioned Mathematics was toughest one and Physics was moderately difficult. However, chemistry section was the easiest one in difficulty level.

Day 5 Shift II (27th June 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The 2nd shift of JEE Main 2022 Exam was successfully conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. According to the feedback of the students, the exam was moderate in difficulty level.

On asking about section wise feedback, the students mentioned Chemistry as the easiest one and Mathematics as lengthy one. While Physics section was moderate in difficulty level.

In mathematics there were questions from topics – Straight line, mathematics reasoning, limit, integration, etc. In Physics section the topics from which the questions were asked were from Current, rotational motion, semi conductor, etc.

In Chemistry section, there were questions from the topics – Bio-molecules, green chemistry, p-block, Chemistry in everyday life, etc.

Day 6 Shift I (28th June 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The first shift of JEE Main 2022 Exam for Paper 1 (Day 6) has been conducted successfully from 9 to 12 noon. The paper was considered to be moderate in difficulty level. The Mathematics section on comparison to other sections was toughest one.

In Maths section, questions were asked from various topics such as probability, relation and function, statistics, mathematical reasoning, etc. This section was considered lengthiest section of all.

In Chemistry section, students considered it to be easy one. Topics in this section were – Chemistry in everyday life, polymer, environmental chemistry, etc.

In Physics section, it was overall considered easy to moderate one in terms of difficulty level. As per feedback, there were topics from – current, rotational motion, semiconductor, logic gate, etc.

Analysis According to Students: The shift 2 paper of JEE Main 2022 Exam has been conducted from 3pm to 6 pm. As per the students feedback about the paper, it was moderate in difficulty level.

The Mathematics section was considered lengthy in nature. However, the Chemistry section was considered easier and Physics section was mentioned moderate in difficulty level by the students. The physics section had formula based questions.

Day 7 Shift I (29th June 2022):


Analysis According to Students: The first shift of JEE Main 2022 Exam for Paper 1 (Day 7) has been conducted from 9 to 12 noon. This shift was overall considered as easy to moderate in difficulty level.

The mathematics section was considered to be moderately difficult in nature. The Mathematics section had questions from topics – Limit, Integration, Statistics, Mathematical reasoning, probability, etc.

In Chemistry section, there were questions from various topics like Block chemistry, OH Bonds, Biomolecules, polymers, etc. in Chemistry section.

In Physics, there were questions from topics – Current and resistance, capacitor, communication system, etc. So this section was considered as easier one by the students.

For Mathematics section, students mentioned that it was lengthy and tough. There were questions from topics – communication, mathematical reasoning, variance, semiconductors, statistics, etc.

For Physics section, students said that it was moderate to easy in difficulty level & same for chemistry section it was considered to be moderate to easy.
